104 ft of Black 6-Inch Gutter and 36 ft of New Fascia – Collingwood Terrace
Atlanta, GA
Description
Urban Seamless Gutters ATL replaced the full gutter system on a single-story home and rebuilt the roof edge it hangs on. We removed 104 feet of old gutter and hauled the debris away, replaced 36 linear feet of rotted fascia with primed pine, then formed and hung 104 feet of 6-inch K-style gutter in black on 60 hidden hangers, feeding 50 feet of 3×4 downspout.
The Challenge
The fascia behind the gutter had rotted through in several places along the roof edge, leaving nothing solid to hang a gutter on. Sections of board were soft or missing outright, and any new system fastened to it would have pulled loose the same way the old one did.
Our Solution
We took the old gutter down and hauled it off, then cut out the rotted fascia and replaced 36 feet of it with primed pine, caulked and left ready for paint. With a solid edge to work from, we formed 104 feet of 6-inch K-style gutter on site in black and hung it on 60 hidden hangers, sealing the end caps and seams. Five oval outlets feed 50 feet of 3×4 downspout, strapped back to the wall with pipe bands so the runs stay put.
