Description
Urban Seamless Gutters ATL performed a complete gutter system replacement and upgrade, installing 242 feet of 6-inch white K-Style gutters formed on-site from .032-gauge aluminum. The project included the removal of the existing gutters and guards, along with the installation of 242 feet of Dynamic Flo 3501 gutter guards—featuring aluminum alloy frames and 18-gauge stainless steel micromesh for superior filtration. A new gutter system was added over the back deck, which required a minor roof extension to direct rainfall properly. Additional work included 20 feet of new downspouts and three elbows (A and B types) with optional repositioning of the front entryway downspouts.
The Challenge
A unique challenge arose with the addition of new gutters over the back deck. The existing roofline did not allow for optimal water flow into the new gutter system, requiring an extension of the roof edge by several inches. Additionally, potential downspout relocation at the front entryway required flexible planning and on-site decision-making to meet drainage needs and aesthetic preferences.
Our Solution
Urban Seamless Gutters ATL addressed the deck drainage issue by modifying the roofline to allow proper water channeling into the new back gutter. The Dynamic Flo system was installed for full-length protection, and new downspouts were added at the deck while allowing for flexible adjustments at the front. The entire system—including guards, gutters, and fittings—was tailored to the home’s existing architecture, ensuring optimal flow, improved durability, and a clean, cohesive appearance.
