Urban Seamless Gutters ATL replaced the entire gutter system on a three-story home. The old gutters and downspouts came down and new ones went back in the same locations — 162 feet of 6-inch K-style gutter formed on site in bronze, hung on 108 hidden hangers, feeding 150 feet of 3×4 bronze downspout.
The Challenge
The house runs three stories at the back, with a roofline broken up by enough corners to need eleven separate miters. Working at that height calls for different equipment and more crew time, and the old system had to come down cleanly before any of the new runs could be measured and formed.
Our Solution
We removed the old gutters and downspouts and formed the replacements on site, rolling 162 feet of 6-inch K-style in bronze and fabricating eleven miters to match the corners of the roofline. The runs went up on 108 hidden hangers with the seams and end caps sealed. Six splash guards were set where the pitch concentrates runoff, and a roof cut was fabricated to keep water from working in behind the gutter. Eight oval outlets feed 150 feet of 3×4 downspout, secured with eighteen pipe bands.
