Urban Seamless Gutters ATL completed a deluxe gutter cleaning and downspout upgrade for a multi-story home in Suwanee, Georgia. The property had nearly 275 linear feet of guttering, impacted by seasonal buildup and showing signs of leakage and poor flow. The project included a thorough hand-cleaning of the gutter interior, targeted air-blowing, and resealing of all critical points—end caps, miters, and outlet seams—using GeoCel professional gutter silicone. To restore complete functionality, we also replaced two key 3×4 downspout sections and added A and B-style elbows to redirect water flow efficiently around the home’s architecture. A height premium was applied due to the three-story elevation on sections of the home.
The Challenge
Mark’s gutter system was facing multiple issues: clogs from debris, sagging connections, visible leaks, and an outdated downspout layout that failed to redirect water efficiently. Because parts of the home reached three stories high, standard service approaches wouldn’t cut it—this job required precision, safety protocols, and specialty equipment.
Our Solution
Our team tackled the project from top to bottom, starting with a full interior cleaning of all gutters by hand and low-pressure air. We then resealed key joints and outlets using high-grade GeoCel sealant to prevent further leaks. Next, we installed 25 feet of new 3×4 bronze aluminum downspouts—sourced from a local Atlanta manufacturer—along with six A-style elbows and two B-style elbows to guide runoff smoothly. Additionally, we performed custom redirection and patching at the front of the home to eliminate an old “pee-spout” and tie the gutter system into the newly installed drainage points. Safety measures were followed closely to accommodate the home’s height, ensuring all high-reach work was completed cleanly and securely.
