50 ft of Tuxedo Grey 6-Inch Gutter on a Commercial Awning – Marietta

Urban Seamless Gutters ATL installed a new gutter on the awning along the right side of a commercial building in Marietta, GA (30066). We formed 50 feet of 6-inch K-style gutter on site from heavy-duty .032-gauge aluminum in Tuxedo Grey, and ran 20 feet of 3×4 downspout in matching Tuxedo Grey with six A elbows.
The Challenge
The awning on the right side of the building needed a gutter of its own. Everything an awning sheds comes off its lower edge in one line, so that water has to be caught along the full length and carried down to the ground.
Our Solution
We formed 50 feet of 6-inch K-style gutter on site in Tuxedo Grey and hung it along the awning. A elbows at the top of the downspout run carry the water from the gutter back to the wall, and 20 feet of oversized 3×4 downspout in the same Tuxedo Grey takes it to the ground. The 6-inch gutter and 3×4 downspout carry considerably more water than the standard 5-inch and 2×3.
