Full Gutter Replacement: 248 ft of Eggshell 6-Inch Gutter – Alpharetta
Alpharetta, GA
Description
Urban Seamless Gutters ATL replaced the entire gutter system on a two-story brick-and-siding home in Alpharetta, GA. The old gutters came down and new ones went up in the same locations: 248 feet of 6-inch K-style gutter formed on site from heavy-duty .032-gauge aluminum in eggshell.
The Challenge
A system this size covers a lot of roofline: long runs front and back, the gables, the garage wing and the rear bump-outs, each with its own corners. Every run had to come down cleanly and then be measured, formed and fitted again in the same spot.
Our Solution
We removed the old gutters and formed 248 feet of new 6-inch K-style gutter on site in eggshell, cutting each run to fit and hanging it back in its original location. The roofline took 27 miters, roof cuts and splash blocks to fit cleanly around all its corners, and six new A elbows connect the gutter outlets to the downspouts. The 6-inch size carries considerably more water than the standard 5-inch, which matters on a roof this big.
