Urban Seamless Gutters ATL installed a new gutter run over the rear deck of a home in Alpharetta, GA. We formed 30 feet of 6-inch K-style gutter on site from heavy-duty .032-gauge aluminum in almond, cut it to fit, and topped the full run with In-Lock black mesh guards.
The Challenge
The roofline over the back deck needed a gutter that could handle the water coming off that slope and stay clear of leaves. The deck sits right under it, so overflow lands where people sit, and cleaning a gutter over a deck is awkward work.
Our Solution
We formed 30 feet of 6-inch K-style gutter on site in almond, cut it to fit, and hung it along the roof edge over the deck. Then we locked In-Lock black mesh guards onto the gutter lip along all 30 feet. The heavy-gauge steel mesh comes in 4-foot sections with a crimped edge that grips the lip, and its black powder-coated finish blends in with the roof.
